Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 August 2026

Downtime Management ("we", "us", "our") provides a shift-tracking and downtime-reporting platform for mining operations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, mobile number, company, site, role and profile image, provided by you or your organisation's administrator.
  • Operational data: shift logs, downtime events, equipment, tonnage/SMU records and reports you or your organisation enter into the platform.
  • Usage & device data: log files, IP address, browser/device type and timestamps, collected automatically for security and diagnostics.
  • Authentication data: handled via our identity provider (single sign-on); we do not store your password.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the platform and your account.
  • To generate the reports, dashboards and analytics your organisation requests.
  • To secure the platform, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot issues.
  • To communicate with you about your account or service changes.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with:

  • Your employer/organisation, who administers your account and access.
  • Service providers who host or support the platform, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

4. Data retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterwards only as required for legitimate business, legal or regulatory purposes.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — including encrypted transport, access controls and authentication via single sign-on — to protect your information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can request deletion of your account via our account deletion page. For any other request, contact us using the details below.

7. Children's privacy

The platform is intended for business use by adult employees of mining operations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
